Abby Stafford (Salem State University ’23)

Program Director / U16 Head Coach

Abby Stafford is the Women’s Director at Emperor Hockey Academy, where she oversees all aspects of the program. With a distinguished background in playing and coaching for women’s hockey, Stafford brings a deep understanding of the game to her role.

A graduate of Salem State University with a degree in Sports Movement & Science, Abby played on the Division 3 team throughout her four years there, serving as team captain for two of those years. She consistently ranked among the top four in points each season. Known for her strategic insight, Abby excels in defensive play and has an understanding of the game’s nuances. 

In her early years, Abby played high school hockey with the Winthrop/Lynn Bull Dawgs and joined the North Suburban Wings during their inaugural season in 2017. Over the last three years, she has coached with the NS Wings and served as a lead skills instructor for CN Hockey. Abby is eager to advance Emperor Hockey Academy’s program and cultivate well-rounded hockey players.
